Regular organist Eric Koevoets will lead you through a virtuoso program, from Bach to Dupré. Prepare to be amazed (or did you already know?) by the incredible richness of sound of this magnificent organ. No one can demonstrate this better than Eric Koevoets, who knows every detail of this instrument. So don't miss this concert!

The Maarschalkerweerd organ in the Sint-Lambertuskerk in Rotterdam-Kralingen is the most poetic organ in Rotterdam, according to organist Hayo Boerema of the Laurenskerk-Rotterdam. And now there's the unique opportunity to play this instrument for thirty minutes as an amateur organist. You can also get registration tips from resident organist Eric Koevoets, a true sound wizard.

Music for recorders through the centuries

Hilde de Wolf

On replicas of authentic historical instruments, the DUO Sonja Gruijs & Hilde de Wolf will perform works by Japanese, French, and Dutch composers, among others. Beautiful melodies by Giovanni da Firenze, the refined tones of Orlando di Lasso, and richly ornamented music by Philidor will be heard. Exciting twentieth-century music by Dutch composer Willem Wander van Nieuwkerk and Japanese composer Ryohei Hirose will also be performed.
