Duoconcert by Iddo van der Giessen, organ and Joram van Ketel, trombone
Works by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Sigfrid Karg-Elert and Steven Verhelst
Joram and Iddo form an adventurous duo on trombone and organ. Since 2016, the two alumni of the Royal Conservatory in The Hague have challenged each other to explore the extremes of their instruments' dynamics and timbre, from whisper-soft to compellingly fierce. At one moment they are engaged in a contrasting dialogue, while at another their instruments merge into a new sound. Their repertoire ranges from the Venetian Renaissance to Romanticism and music composed especially for the duo.

Ruud Huijbrechts, plays organworks from Bach, Buxtehude, Krebs, Mendelssohn, Bovet, Paert and Andriessen.
A very diverse program featuring music from various centuries that, despite the contrasts, forms a cohesive whole. The mutual influence between composers runs like a common thread through the program: music that builds upon what has been heard before and finds new paths within it.
